I've been to Cache a few times and I've met some nice people there. I loved the music and how you can just have a good time. My only concern is the waitressing and that most guys don't ask you to dance unless they know you. One waitress in particular("Blondie" as we call her) really pissed me off and wouldn't get my friends any drinks, I guess she was too busy entertaining her buddies. As for the guys there, I have no explanation and maybe the shyness will go away soon.

Certainly not a place to go alone. Go with a group. But the ambeince is truly a latin club I guess. People do not dance as enthusiastically as they do at Ryles. The music could be better, though it is not bad. I was searched with a metal detector when I entered. May not be very safe on occasion I guess.

With expectations low for a Monday evening of salsa, I was pleasantly surprised with Cache - first at the door when there was no cover charge, then on the floor when my partner and I discovered we had the entire place to ourselves! What other reviewers described as "glittery" simply meant that the dance floor, with mirrors on all sides, provided the perfect place to try new moves and stylize. The music was well-mixed and the laid-back DJ, when not chatting at the entrance, was open to requests. Drinks were a bit shoddy, but inexpensive - who had time to drink anyway? The clientele was almost exclusively Dominican, but it didn't seem to matter that we weren't. Towards the end of the night (around 1:00) a handful of couples joined us on the floor. For the most part, however, the club was like our own private studio! Definitely not a place to go alone but if you have a friend or dance partner to bring along, it's absolutely worth it!

Cache seems to cater to the local Dominican population. It's a big place and it gets pretty packed on weekends. However, the dance floor is tiny compared to the size of the club. Most people probably don't dance much when they go. The music tends to be evenly split between Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata, the last two being Dominican dances, and there are some good dancers there usually. But it's definitely not a place where I would expect to meet people--I always bring a dance partner or a group of friends. Usually I'm the only Gringo in there, but people seem to appreciate some good dancing. The decor can best be described as glittery, as the place is filled with mirrors. The DJ does a great job with the music, and parking is no problem. The downsides are that the music is very loud and that the club is known to have a fairly high number of incidents where the police show up. Definitely go in a group, but it's a fun little club if you want to experience a truly Latin establishment.

I only visited this club one time this winter, didn't stay the whole night and don't plan on going again. The dance floor was very small, though generally uncrowded and the atmosphere is a bit garish. The club hosts topless dancing on occaision ensuring an unsavory group of characters will gather as the evening wears on. Any positives? Well the night I was there the DJ that played knew what he was doing. When he played salsa it was the spellbinding salsa that keeps salsaholics additicted. He also mixed some nice bachata and merengue (good tempo and instrumentation) and I can't recall a single latin house song (surprise bonus). Sorry I can't remember who the DJ was. If you insist on checking this one out on your own I suggest you call ahead to find out the venue, go early with a group of dancers you know, and then leave before the night creatures decend.
