Tuesday nights doors open at about 10 pm, or slightly earlier. It tends to be a bit crowded and the dance floor should be bigger really for all the people who come, to avoid getting hit or stepped on or visa versa, but for the most part, it is great fun! Many friendly people there who love dancing. Parking is easy.

Update: This continued to be my major paty of the week, The dance floor is more managable since they allow dancing in more parts of the room. It is awesome that there is no charge to get in and drinks are fairly priced. There are many pitchers of water, some with ice and some without ice, and plenty of cups--all for free. Bring ID to get in. Still very friendly and open to newcomers.

This place is a hot spot party every Tuesday night. Energy is super high. The intimate atmosphere and the high energy sound system do the job. But my ears never went on overload. Dancing space gets tight because people come froom all over, even from Vermont and Conecticut. There are all levels of dancing, and people mix easily. I try to get there every week.It is my favorite spot.

I have mixed reviews with this place. Only because it gets really, really crowded and I'm not a fan of overly crowed dance floors. The place begins 9:30pm every Tuesday Night at the Iron Horse, Central Street, Northampton MA. If you love to dance to salsa, get their EARLY because the place fills up fast. Once it does, forget about doing all those fancy salsa moves, it's almost near impossible. I do like the smoothness of the dance floor, although I wish is was bigger. The people who do attend are extremely friendly and sociable which makes the place well worth attending. Besides the usual salsa, merengue and bachata, they also play alot of other international music towards the end of the night. I personally don't know how to dance to it, but it's nice to watch others having a great time on the dance floor.
