us this coming Friday, March 1st, at 8:30 PM as the Rueda group
gives its
first workshop of the term. However, we also have a special
treat for
you this time: WE WILL BE HOLDING A SALSA PARTY
AFTER THE
WORKSHOP!
Workshop: 8:30 PM - 10 PM (cost -
$10)
Party: 10 PM - 12:30 AM (cost $5; or free for those who attend the
workshop)
Snacks and refreshments will be provided....

Lobdell's in the Student Center (MIT)

No
partner is necessary. As usual, people will be split up into
three
levels: beginner, advanced beginner, and
intermediate/advanced.
Notice that these levels are not designated in
terms of salsa. If you
dance salsa but not rueda, you will be placed at
a beginner level. It
will be up to the discretion of the instructors to
move you up to the
next level.
Workshops are formal instruction,
so bring your sweats, your jazz
sneakers/dancing shoes, your water bottles,
and plenty of energy to
burn for 3 hours straight. No formal attire is
required for the party.
With that said, we hope to see you all
there.

be moving to Thursdays at Sophia's, beginning on Thursday
March 7,

Nights

p.m. on the 1st & 2nd floors;

DVD of Classical Salsa, New
York Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha,
Mambo, Mambo-Salsa, Samba,
Lambada, Latin House, & more - on the 2nd

3. 10:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. - Our live Sophia's Latin Salsa, Cha Cha
Cha,
& Bolero band, playing their great music for dancing, with Uche
Amaechi
DJing between sets on the 1st floor;
4. As part of our
apprechiation for your attendence of our Tuesday
nights for the past 2 years,
