Subject: Salsa Update #170: Birthdays at Vincent's tonight

Hola Salseros!

Formatting messed up?  Read this on the web at

     http://salsaboston.com/archive

This issue:

- highlights

- Birthdays this week: Merle turns 21!! Kristie parties down!

- New Years Parties

- Claim your raffle prizes!  Last week!

- SalsaBoston events

- Sponsor news

- This week's mailbag

Congreso folks!  Volunteer wrap-up/holiday brunch next week tentatively (Sat. Dec. 14) Details TBA.  Email to olaf@salsaboston.com if you aren't on the volunteer list.

Question of the week:  Should I be flattered that there is a certain segment out there that incessantly tries to hack, imitate, copy, slander, skew and/or otherwise defame or sections of SalsaBoston?  Come on guys, CEASE!  Especially those of you on mindspring.

(Well, at least it's entertaining.  The funniest one was Mr. E.M. who said on the message board once, "you'll never catch me 'cause I know computers...")

Seriously though, I'm not interested in "Salsa Politics" like it exists in many cities.  There are plenty of websites and stuff around now and the more power to the people that started them, but please don't stoop so low as to feel the incessant need to make a name for yourself through this sort of thing, on my site or anyone else's.  We don't need that in Boston.  Go somewhere else please.

Alright, enough pontification...  on to the FUN!!

* Yearned for more freedom of expression in dance (and in life)?

If your answer to any of these is "Yes", then this workshop was designed for you.
