I'm fresh back from two weeks R&R in Vail, and guess what, they have Salsa there too!   A well attended night in Avon, CO on  Wednesday.  How about that!

A couple of quick website notes--the SalsaBoston site was down all night, right about when many of you tried to RSVP for free admission to Vertigo.  It's back up and working, so try again if you haven't.  Also, the message board had been hacked, and in the process of fixing, deleted.  Many messages are restored but some permanently lost.  I'll put something more modern there soon.  ALSO!  Very soon we will have personal mini-websites available on salsaboston that you yourself can subscribe for and edit (ex: salsaboston.com/yournamehere).  Stay tuned.

** SalsaBoston's 5th Annual New England Salsa Competition begins in March/April.  Stay tuned.  This year there will be amateur and "semi-pro", the later of which is designed for all of you out there in the dance companies.

An Tua Nua is a great contemporary Irish bar & grill on Beacon Street just outside of Kenmore Square (only about 3 blocks from Sophia's).  In the back they have a dance club about the same size as the upstairs at Sophia's, with a sizable dance floor that holds about 150 people, a bar, and plenty of lounge seating. 

Close to the green line (St. Mary's on the C train), plenty of street and lot parking.

Irish/America/Bar food available until 10pm.  I have eaten there, it is tasty and modestly priced.

Note: they have Karaoke in the front portion of the bar when you walk in, but don't let that scare you... Salsa is in the back room!  Full Bar.  Please check your coat.

Masacote Entertainment will be holding auditions for its Professional Dance Company the last week of March! We are looking for one more MALE dancer! Previous salsa experience is recommended, but dancers with experience in other dance styles will also be considered.

COPACABANA NIGHTCLUB NYC BUS TRIP
