An Tua Nua is a great contemporary Irish bar & grill on Beacon Street just
outside of Kenmore Square (only about 3 blocks from Sophia's). In the back
they have a dance club about the same size as the upstairs at Sophia's, with a
sizable dance floor that holds about 150 people, a bar, and plenty of lounge
seating.
Close to the green line (St. Mary's on the C train, Fenway on the D, Kenmore
on the B), plenty of street and lot parking.
Irish/America/Bar food available until 10pm. I have eaten there regularly, it
is very tasty and modestly priced.
Note: they have Karaoke with my man Kev-Mac Daddy in the front portion of the
bar when you walk in, but don't let that scare you... Salsa is in the back
room! Full Bar. Please check your coat.

STRICTLY SALSA @ CUBAN REVOLUTION
Thank all of you for a great opening night at Strictly Salsa @ Cuban
Revolution (Providence). We have taken a giant step into a beautiful location!
Great upscale atmosphere, prize winning decor, well lit, working bathrooms, 2
free parking lots. It has just been awarded Providence Phoenix Best New
Restaurant and Providence Monthly Magazine Award. A film crew from the Food
Network just filmed Cuban Revolution for an upcoming segment of Rachel Raes
Tasty Travels Show.
In answer to a recent poll, I would like to inform everyone that:
1. the sofas have been placed in the Reception area...
2. there is a designated entry from the door to the bar...
3. the dance area has doubled in size from opening night...
4. the previous videos have been replaced with Salsa/Dance videos 5. the
sound will be newly adjusted by this Sunday night.
6. we have 4 D.J.s to satisfy everyones taste
My goal has always been to offer our Strictly Salsa Family the best out there.
With the help of Ed and Mary Morabito, the owners of Cuban Revolution, I am
sure we can build a new home for Strictly Salsa Sundays. Please hang in there
with us and watch your emails for some great Sunday night events to come.
Most sincerely,
Jeannie Oki
