Hola Salseros!

Ah... warm weather... Boston sure gets nice right about now! Looking forward
to seeing everyone tonight at An Tua Nua.

** See you at An Tua Nua Tonight! Hopping as always!
  http://salsaboston.com/antuanua or scroll down.

** ATTENTION SALSA INSTRUCTORS!
I am relaunching a program we've had for a while that many don't
know about. Salsa Field Trips to An Tua Nua!
The idea is that your beginner level studio class students
often don't know where to go dancing or need a little
hand holding (I know I did, way back when...), so we have
this program which offers a discount coupon to the students.
PLUS, we pay a commission to you, the instructor, to book a
"graduation field trip" for your beginner classes. You
can participate as often as you like as well, once for
    each session you teach.

Contact me for details: olaf@salsaboston.com or 617-513-9841

** Salsa Cruise dates have been posted on the cruise website:
      http://salsaboston.com/cruise
This year we are having alternating Friday and Sunday
cruises (i.e. Friday one week, Sunday the next, etc.)
If you work for a company, let your HR people know that you
Would like them to book a company outing! They have budgets
for that. Contact olaf@salsaboston.com or 617-513-9841
General admission tickets go on sale in June.

** SalsaBoston's new sister company, Swing City Productions,
  Presents "SWING CITY"
  every Friday in Somerville.
If you want to take a break from Salsa and come out and dance
to "Bombay Jim and the Swinging Sapphires" this week.
  Check out the details at
    http://swingcityboston.com
29 Central St. off Somerville Ave. btw Porter and Union Sq.
  All ages welcome.
Lessons 7:45-8:45, Dancing 8:45-1am, full bar (21+ to drink).
Be sure to subscribe to the list!

See you on the dance floor!
-Olaf

An Tua Nua is a great contemporary Irish bar & grill on Beacon Street just
outside of Kenmore Square (only about 3 blocks from Sophia's). In the back
they have a dance club about the same size as the upstairs at Sophia's, with a
sizable dance floor that holds about 150 people, a bar, and plenty of lounge
seating.

Close to the green line (St. Mary's on the C train, Fenway on the D, Kenmore
on the B), plenty of street and lot parking.

Irish/America/Bar food available until 10pm. I have eaten there regularly, it
is very tasty and modestly priced.

Note: they have Karaoke with my man Kev-Mac Daddy in the front portion of the
bar when you walk in, but don't let that scare you... Salsa is in the back
room! Full Bar. Please check your coat.

1)

To all our 18+ friends who have been waiting patiently.... Salsa Fridays 18+
is open in Central Square! On behalf of Salsa y Control, the Havana Club
Dancers, and the MIT Rueda Group, it is my pleasure to say that we are excited
and look forward to seeing you this Friday!!!

SF18+ should feel familiar to folks - there is a large ballroom, which has a
raised performance stage. And SF18+ will be packed with great dancers and
great people. It is in Central Sq. There's also a good parking situation- FREE
(yeah, how good is that!) parking just one street over (the lot at the corner
of Prospect and Bishop Allen). And the venue is a big space (capacity: 400),
with several different room options for us to eventually play with (we'll
start with two). SF18+ is a social, so feel free to bring your own
water/sports drinks/etc. There's no alcohol, but "The Tavern" is across the
street. It's going to be an awesome night! Oh yeah, tell your friends! It is a
good space. Great location. Let's make it happen!
