Hi everyone! The chatter about cruise season is definitely picking up, in
fact I get calls each week wondering if they are starting yet. Well, they
are---June 20! Fridays and Sundays, alternating weeks, this year. The dates
are online though the graphics haven't been updated yet.
http://salsaboston.com/cruise Prices are tentatively about the same as well.
Questions or want to book a group? Call me at 617-513-9841.
** See you at An Tua Nua Tonight! Hopping as always!
http://salsaboston.com/antuanua or scroll down.
** This weekend's feature is Masacote's FANTAGIOUS album release weekend,
including Friday's concert at MIT, dance, and Saturday's All White
Fantasy Gala at Springstep.
There is an extensive event website, plus some highlights in the mailbag.
http://www.masacoteentertainment.com/masacoterecords/fantagious/schedule.html
If you're on a budget, they are looking for volunteers. See mailbag.
** ATTENTION SALSA INSTRUCTORS!
I am relaunching a program we've had for a while that many don't
know about. Salsa Field Trips to An Tua Nua!
The idea is that your beginner level studio class students
often don't know where to go dancing or need a little
hand holding (I know I did, way back when...), so we have
this program which offers a discount coupon to the students.
PLUS, we pay a commission to you, the instructor, to book a
"graduation field trip" for your beginner classes. You
can participate as often as you like as well, once for
each session you teach.
Contact me for details: olaf@salsaboston.com or 617-513-9841

An Tua Nua is a great contemporary Irish bar & grill on Beacon Street just
outside of Kenmore Square (only about 3 blocks from Sophia's). In the back
they have a dance club about the same size as the upstairs at Sophia's, with a
sizable dance floor that holds about 150 people, a bar, and plenty of lounge
seating.
Close to the green line (St. Mary's on the C train, Fenway on the D, Kenmore
on the B), plenty of street and lot parking.
Irish/America/Bar food available until 10pm. I have eaten there regularly, it
is very tasty and modestly priced.
Note: they have Karaoke with my man Kev-Mac Daddy in the front portion of the
bar when you walk in, but don't let that scare you... Salsa is in the back
room! Full Bar. Please check your coat.
