If you have a story, some thoughts, artwork, or anything creative that you'd like to share with the Salsa community, send it to us. New Year's with SalsaBoston and Havana Club

We are please to announce that we will be hosting a New Year's Eve Gala!
Due to some delays with people getting back to us, right now we are finalizing plans regarding the location and entertainment, but you can count on no less than Boston's finest Salsa entertainers, most like live music, good eats, a great venue, and super people! Save the date. The official announcement should be forthcoming in a day or two.

We've also postponed the anniversary party to next week, and that will be featuring--for the first time ever at ATN--live music with "Latin Fire", performances, all your friends, and of course a really good birthday cake (Kelly's got the secret bakery in JP working on that...) So see you next week hopefully as well!

- Masacote's Holiday Gala at Knights of Columbus
- "El Jolgorio" Gala with Ricardo Villanueva and Rumba Caribe (usually about 5000+ people there...)

City Club closed until January

An Tua Nua is a great contemporary Irish bar & grill on Beacon Street just outside of Kenmore Square (only about 3 blocks from Sophia's). In the back they have a dance club about the same size as the upstairs at Sophia's, with a sizable dance floor that holds about 150 people, a bar, and plenty of lounge seating.

Close to the green line (St. Mary's on the C train, Fenway on the D, Kenmore on the B), plenty of street and lot parking.

Irish/America/Bar food available until 10pm. I have eaten there regularly, it is very tasty and modestly priced.

Note: they have Karaoke with my man Kev-Mac Daddy in the front portion of the bar when you walk in, but don't let that scare you... Salsa is in the back room! Full Bar. Please check your coat.
