Dear Salseros!
Some very exciting news for you! After four years at An Tua Nua,
we're relocating Salsa Wednesdays to a very cool new venue, Sagra
Restaurant, right in the heart of Davis Square in Somerville. We're
doing this because we felt it was time to find a nicer place more
suitable to the needs of Salseros. We had some great times at An Tua
Nua, but we're really looking forward to the new place. The consensus is
two thumbs up!
Each Night:
9:30pm-10:15pm: Beginner/Adv. Beg. Salsa Lessons with Salsa Y
Control/Johnny & Kelly
10:15pm-1am: Dancing! Salsa/Latin with resident DJ's D. Martinez
and Hernan
(note: lessons with MetaMovements from 7-9 will resume will resume
later
this summer, as we don't have space lined up for those times yet)
 
About Sagra
Sagra Restaurant is a very elegant fairly new Italian Restaurant in
Davis Square. We will be on the ground level this summer, and by the
end of the summer they are building out the 2nd floor with a full
dance hall, the likes of which we've been dreaming of for years. Join
us for what we predict is going to be a great new home for Salsa!

Welcome to Club Caribé, Boston's newest upscale Salsa/Latin hotspot! Resident DJ's Hernan and D. Martinez are in the house spinning the best of Salsa, plus frequent special night and promotions. The party is hopping! If you hadn't heard already, something like 400-450 people made it to the opening, and we've been going strong ever since.

- The beginner salsa lesson each week. Forthcoming we are organizing regular beginner and intermediate drop-in lessons.

Havana Fridays and Saturdays |

Friday Night Salsa rocks so hard that we are going to "double down" this weekend (and every weekend going forward) and throw Friday and Saturday parties at 288 Green Street in Central Square! This weekend: special dance performances by the world famous Jayson Molina and Boston's own Rumba y Timbal.
Saturday Night Salsa's opening will be a big bash, a joint production of Havana Club and Salsa Boston, with Salsa y Control teaching the lessons.
It's gonna be a great party- so come on by and let's get that party started right!
Please note that we will likely continue to throw Havana Saturdays in the South End once a month. Next HS party: June 27th!

Starting Sunday, June 21, SalsaBoston Presents "Salsa, Down at the Boca Bar"
Located in the heart of the bustling Moody St. district in Waltham, the Boca Bar is a Costa Rican owned tropically flavored establishment, modeled after the famous Club Mangos/South Beach in Miami. It's a perfect vibe for Salsa, in a cozy little place.
The night will have a local flavor since the place is small (~50-60 people), with DJ Saoko and guests. Salsa lessons at 8pm. The club will also have a bar menu available, and possibly a Costa Rican dinner special. More details TBA.
Free parking is available on street and in numerous municipal lots in the area.

That's right folks, Burju Shoes and the Hello Stiletto Shoe Club have teamed up for a wonderful night of Salsa & Shoes!
Following form with Hello Stiletto's Shoe Parties, we want you to put on your prettiest shoes and join us Thursday, July 23rd at Boston's magnificent FELT nightclub (4th Floor). The party begins promptly at 6pm with an hour long salsa lesson taught by Victor & Burju of Hacha Y Machete dance company. After 7pm you'll get a chance to show off what you learned as the salsa music and dancing continues. Throughout the evening, you'll have an opportunity to browse and be fitted for Burju Shoes' beautiful line of footwear suitable for dancing as well as just looking gorgeous. You'll also enjoy a selection of complimentary appetizers and a special performance by the HYM dancers! At 8:30pm we'll have the signature Hello Stiletto walk-off. The attendee who salsas best down the pink carpet and in the most fetching footwear will take home a prize and the title of "Best in Shoe." The best part is there's no charge to attend (including the lesson!) but you must RSVP here to be added to the guest list. Please note that Hello Stiletto events are open to men as well as women. Feel free to bring a dance partner, male or female, or come solo. Either way, you'll be in good company. FELT is located at 533 Washington Street, Boston, MA. Did we mention its FREE?
