I hope everyone survived the Halloween Weekend in good order! Certainly good times were reported. A few people are still due their costume contest prizes, so please contact us if you are one of them.

If you haven't heard, EVERYONE has been at Caribe lately, and we're glad to see so many faces! Take advantage of the 2-for-1 Admission (i.e. just $5 each) before 9:30. We've also got our new bigger dance floor going for you. Hope to see you tonight. Read on below.

SalsaBoston and Havana Club are teaming up again to bring you another fabulous New Year's Eve Salsa Gala! This year we well be doing Two Floors at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, home of Club Caribe. Stay tuned for more details and discount tickets.

We are now offering two hours of lessons with MetaMovements at Club Caribe Plus, Boston's Hot Salsa Spot will be staying open generally until 1:30am if the crowd so demands.

8pm: Casino Rueda, Beginner and Intermediate Levels
9pm: Beginner and Intermediate Salsa
10pm-1:30am: Dancing!

- Cover charge is $10 ($8 with valid student ID)
- each lesson will be $5 additional
- beginner and intermediate levels with be concurrent. You can go back and forth if the level is too hard or easy.
- our 2-for-1 discount still applies to the cover charge (before 9:30 only) and the 9pm beginner lesson. So that means the cover charge would be $5 pp, and either $2.50 pp for the beginner lesson or $5 pp for the other lessons. See the website to RSVP for the discount.

New Jazz Dance Class for Salseros & Jazz/Cha Cha Cha Choreography - Monday nights, starting Nov. 30th!
MetaMovements is thrilled to offer you a special Jazz Dance Class and Jazz/Cha Cha Cha Choreography project to help you improve your dance and salsa skills, and even have the chance to perform! Contact MetamovementsDance@gmail.com to sign-up now for the full 7-week session (see class info below), or drop-in for the first class and try it out for just $25!
**Please note that the first class only (Monday, Nov 30th) will be a special 2-hour Jazz Dance class from 7-9pm at 119 Windsor St. in Cambridge, MA.The rest of the classes will follow the schedule below and will be held in Medford, MA**

7-8pm: Jazz Dance Class (for men and women)
Want to learn a new dance style that will help you become a better salsa dancer? Sign up for the Jazz dance class and experience how Jazz can help you improve your body control, coordination, flexibility, and musicality on the dance floor.

7-9pm: Jazz Dance Class + Jazz/Cha Cha Cha Choreography (for women)
Ladies who successfully learn the Jazz/Cha Cha Cha fusion piece will be invited to join MetaMovements Performance Team and to perform at public events, including salsa congresses and festivals throughout the year.
*Additional Friday night and Saturday morning rehearsals may be scheduled according to the availability of the majority of the class.

The Heart and Soul of Cuban Salsa
Berklee Performance Center

The 2009–2010 Music Series at Berklee continues with Issac Delgado: The Heart and Soul of Cuban Salsa. The Grammy-nominated vocalist is one of the most famous interpreters of Cuban salsa in the world. Delgado will be backed by his son, Issac Jr., on piano, and a group of more than 20 Berklee students, faculty, and alumni. Bass professor Oscar Stagnaro will direct the ensemble.

The performance takes place on Thursday, November 12, at 8:15 p.m. at the Berklee Performance Center, 136 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston.
