There's a band, Cafe Tacuba, that's been breaking the barriers in the Latino music industry for the over the past 10 years. They deserve more exposure!!! I intern at Universal Music and there just isn't enough recognition floating around the office about these talented guys. Their on tour right now and you can get more details at their website.
