just two things...
1. i was there for not more than three minutes... just till the song ended is what i had requested. johnny d's has a reputation for their 10 minute songs, not an tua nua! it was definitely less than 4 minutes before my friend got off the floor.
2. i may have called you names on the floor in the heat of the moment, but that's after you repeatedly told me to f*** off. i can be a gentleman but i expect the other person to display lady-like behaviour too.
i have not called you names on this board. the only reason i call you the '$10 collector' is because i did not know your name. you are not a bouncer and i did not know how else to identify you.
i honestly feel bad that the situation got out of hand.
that was definitely not the evening i had in mind. i've seen you and quite a few of the people on the floor on a regular basis on the salsa circuit. i did not like being called names in front of all the people who know me for being a much better person than a hard-headed patron just as much as you did not like me calling you a b****.
there'll be those who say that just because you called me names does not give me the license to retaliate. they're probably right.
my friend's leaving town this weekend so she'll probably not make it in there again. thank you for your offer to give me vip admission. i'll take a rain check on that for a time when i leave my wallet at home :-)
my apologies if you got offended that evening, but i hope you realize that the events that transpired did not make me feel very welcome over there either - i just thought that the fact that you recognize me from the years at sophias and now an tua nua, would buy me a couple of minutes in that corner by the door and the bar.
