Welcome to Maine! We have a growing community of salsa dancers in Portland Maine. The salsamaine@groups.msn.com of which Olaf speaks is the best way to find out what is happening on a regular basis.
I teach beginner salsa at Havana's Night Club and Lounge on Congress Street in downtown Porland every Friday Night. The class is free 8:30-9:30 and is followed with dancing with a DJ till 1 am Admission is $5.00. There are several other events each week for dancing but Havana's is the most well attended.
There is an excellent beginner salsa class with Wendy Edwards at Maine Ballroom on Congress Street.

Contact me if you need any information or want to drive down to Boston to go dancing..I go about once a week! tasteofsalsa@hotmail.com
