Hey all wanted to come by and catch up on some music gossip...any good stories out there? Well I have a lil something to share, my boss at Universal told me that Emusica purchased some of Kubaney Records merengue catalogs and re-mastered some of the most famous merengue music out there, artist such as Johnny Ventura, Jose Manuel Calderon and Fernando Villalon. Emusic is basically doing the same thing it did with Fania Records...re-mastering, re-packaging with original art and selling them at great pics. I purchased a few and It's all I listen to at the moment, but trust me I still love my salsa music. So do we have any merengue fans? What do you think about Emusica, is it a good thing they are doing for Latin music? Hit me up let me know what you think..
Thanks
