Hi, Chris!

There are many fantastic clubs that occur almost every night of the week here in Boogie-Down-Beantown. Check out the club guide on this website to see what is happening each night of the week. What style of salsa do you dance? Do you start on the "1" beat or "on 2"?

I think knowing what style of salsa that you prefer dancing will help you pick the club with the most number of Salseras you can dance with. If you like "LA Style" salsa, then An Tua Nua Wednesdays and Havana Club Fridays are the places to be. If "NY Style" is your thing, then check out Wepa Sundays and Salsa Sundays both at Ryles. I run an event on Wednesdays at Ryles for "Cuban Style" salsa (a.k.a. Casino).

Of course, Boston Salseros are not NEARLY so segmented and clique that only a certain type of dancer goes to a particular place! At every event I've mentioned, almost every style of salsa is always represented! However, each event tends to have a "style leaning" depending on who the teachers are that teach the opening class (it also tends to shape what music the DJ chooses to play that night)
