Indeed, it appears this is another one of Anthony's underhanded, hypocritical, and subversive moves. Evidently, he went to Ryles management and secured a "contract" to take over the night, while all the while Hernan, Hips on Fire, myself, and the rest of the community was pulling together to make it an almost overnight success.

Mostly, without knowing their side, it's bad and unethical decision making by Ryles if you ask me...

What you can do if you're inclined:
1) Write them or call: contact@rylesjazz.com (617) 876-9330 Let them know you won't be attending in the future.

2) Don't go to Ryles on Fridays.

3) Don't go to any of Anthony's events or any he's associated with, including Sundays.

4) If you go on Thursdays, let Suzanne know you're not happy about Ryles--she runs Thursdays there and is somewhat (naively...) "aligned" with Anthony. (If you go on Sat's, talk to Supershag, though there's little connection I don't think.)

5) Don't visit or support SalsaFrenzy.com, which is Anthony's website. Also, if he takes your picture, insist that he delete it immediately.

Quite frankly, I've had enough of that twit. For ten years, Salsa in Boston has been a community oriented "industry", and this is twice now in the last year that I know of that this clown has gone into Ryles management and deliberately and openly sabotaged efforts of others in this community, in order to push forward his own "righteous" agenda.

Never mind countless other examples elsewhere.
