$4 Water?

: $4 for water? What event was that? Are you sure it was my event, because we've never ever charged $4 for water. If it was at the Hyatt, then that's the Hyatt's pricing and you'd be paying the same there regardless of who throws the party.

: Actually, come to think of it, way back, I vaguely recall that at the *very first* party we did there in 2005, they screwed up and didn't stock regular bottled water and might have been selling Apolonaris or some shi-shi water for $4. Maybe that's what you're talking about. We fixed that ever since, which is why you can get water at a normal price there. But, it's still the same, whether it's SalsaBoston, Pabon, Hernan, April, Masacote, or whoever. So, you're welcome.

In other words there are costs that have to be covered. I don't agree that charging $4 is the way to do it, because, as you, people would feel ripped off. : Also, people should support the bar as a general mindset. It makes for more and better events, because quite frankly Salseros in particular have a rap for being "cheap", which is why most venues simply won't touch hosting Salsa parties.
