If you like to salsa and enjoyed our last show at Havana Club then it is time to try samba!!!!!!!

It's time to get ready for the next Samba Dance Workshop! Danielle Lima is coming up from New York to show us how tho shake it! Please check out the details below and sign up ASAP. I need people to sign up and pay ahead of time if possible. Advanced payments ($20) can be made at our Saturday and Tuesday classes. Drop in admission the day of will be $25. Mark your calendars for April 20th and be ready to work it! Until then I hope to see you all at our weekly samba classes.

What: Samba Workshop with Danielle Lima from New York, all levels of experience welcome!
Where: Dance Complex 536 Massachusetts Ave. Central Square, Cambridge (617) 547-9363
When: Sunday, April 20th, 3PM to 5PM, Studio #3
Cost: $20 Advanced sign up (cash or check), $25 (cash only)Drop-in the day of workshop
How do I pay?: Advanced payments can be made in cash or by check at our dance classes.

Saturday Dance Class: Dance Complex 1:30PM to 3:00PM
Tuesday Dance Class: Green Street Studio 185 Green St. Central Sq., Cambridge 7:30 PM to 9PM.

How can I help?: By participating you are helping a lot! Please forward this email to anybody you think might be interested in joining in the fun.

What should I wear?: Dress as you would for an aerobics or high energy dance class and be comfortable. Jeans and high heel shoes not recommended. You might want to bring water.

BIO: Danielle Lima
Danielle Lima was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She started dancing
at the age of 7 at the Dance School Centro de Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
There she studied ballet, jazz, tap, modern, national and international
folkloric dance. Ms. Lima also performed for several years with
G.R.E.S. Beija-flor, the largest samba school of Rio. In 2005, she
founded the Brasileirando Dance Group, a company that aspires to
disseminate Brazilian folkloric and contemporary dances. Ms. Lima's original teaching style and creative choreography includes a mixture of fitness and dance, incorporating
traditional and contemporary Samba from Rio and Bahia.
