Salsa Night Band @ Waterfire Fest. Prov. R.I., Sat. Aug 16th

The Waterfire Festival in Providence, Rhode Iland, is throwing the doors out the windows, this year, with this event. Not only will they have the "Salsa Night Band" perform live, but they're having dancing lessons, music by Dj Tony Felix, performances by Latin Rythm Dancers, Salsa Con Clave, and Hacha y Machete. Even Mayor Cicilline and Barnaby Evans will be on Stage. All this organized by Jeanni Oki from "Stickly Salsa" and it's all free. All on the river shore of the city of Providence. All evnts start at 7:30 PM and the party will go on 'til midnight. Just take the donwntown Prov. exit off Rt. 95 and follow the trafic to the event, practically everyone will be heading in the same direction. For more info. visit the waterfire.com site.
