: : Hi there, my girlfriend and I are coming to the Boston area in September for a few days vacation. We are both salsa fiends and dance salsa On1 and Bachata. We were wondering what type of salsa is danced in the Boston area (On1, On2 etc) as we will be looking for some places and neither of us is particularly keen dancing On2.
: : Thanks

: Hey Guys! Welcome!
: Boston is definitely "On Both", though the "On2" purists (if you will) do host a couple dances that cater to that. Most dances tend toward "On 1" though, with a healthy mix of people that dance both or don't care. Definitely join us on Wed at Sagra, Thur. at Caribe, or at Havana Fri/Sat. for the more general scene. Also, we host a harbor cruise each Fri. through the 3rd week of Sept. if you're here by then. Always a good time!
: Please say hi when you're here.
: Cheers,

Thanks Olaf
Looks like we'll be in Wells (Which I'm informed is only an hour or so away from Boston) from Sunday 13th Sept to Thursday 17th Sept then overnight in Saugus on the 17th for flying out Friday morning. So it looks like Sagra or Caribe (or maybe both ;) ) would be our best choices, though our car has to go back on 17th, whats the public transport like from Saugus to Caribe ?
Thanks again for the info, think I'm going to join your Facebook group.
