Are there really two different salsa events on Feb. 8th?

Just curious – I had heard about the Abakua event at the Knights of Columbus with April On 2 and Hips on Fire (posted on this site). I also just received a message about an MIT Salsa Picante event for the same evening at the Sidney-Pacific Multipurpose Room. Are these really both on the same night? I noticed that April On 2 was mentioned for both events, so I wasn’t sure. They both sound like fun – maybe I could be cloned and do both!
