Ticket Sales Commission Program
 |
The 4th Annual Boston Salsa Congress™
is trying out a new referral-based commission program for
ticket sales this year. This program is designed to reward
dance companies and promoters who wish to be involved with
event promotion, and inherently do a lot of work to bring
people to the event.
To apply please send email with a statement of your interest
and contact information to congress@salsaboston.com. |
We will be paying 10% of the net sales price* on the following
ticket items:
- Full Event Passes (does not include performer passes)
- Day Passes
- Workshop Passes
- Volunteer Passes
Once you have earned $50 or more in commission (about 3-4 passes
sold), you will be eligible for your commission, which will be paid
shortly after the Congress. In special cases where the commission
amount is very high, we can arrange to pay commissions in advance.
Upon registering, you will receive a unique commission code which
you will need to give to the people you are bringing.
In order to properly track your sales, there are three options.
We cannot be certain that people you bring in will correnctly submit
their registration with your code, so the options are listed in
order of reliability. If registrations are not properly submitted
with your code, we will not be able to credit you (i.e. we cannot
go back and "fix" things).
Proper submission consists of either a registration
form submitted with your code, or a code entered in the online
store when a purchase is made.
Registration options:
1) You can give people a registration form, have them complete
it, and return it to you. Then you can go online and enter their
registration information in the online store for them, with your
code, and/or pass the form along to us. (Or in the case of a check,
pass the form and the check on to us.) If you use the online
store, use the "quick-pay" method for simplicity.
2) You can give people a registration form with your code written
on it already, and have them submit it to us directly. They can
then pay online or with a check.
3) You can give people your code, and ask them to write it on their
own form or enter it in the online store when they buy their tickets.
Feel free to email your code with instructions to your email lists.
Helpful tools:
- Download the registration
form (we recommend writing your code in and making copies
as needed to distribute)
- You may copy and paste the text from
this teaser email as you wish, to send to others, or you may
write your own version. (Be sure to include the trademark (TM)
or ™ in the event title.
* net sales price is the price minus any banking
fees we have to pay on the purchase; in particular, credit card
processing fees (about 3%)
