Lot of people have been asking me what the difference between a salsa night and a latin night is. Based on my discussions with Olaf, here goes:

1) A Latin night has more of a mix of music - say 1/3 or more merengue, 1/3 bachata, 1/4 salsa, a little reggaeton and other - whereas a salsa night is typically 70% salsa, with the balance merengue, bachata, cha cha.

2) A Latin night usually has a much smaller dancefloor and the night is less about dancing than about being in a Latin club. A salsa night usually has enough room for lots of salsa dancing.

Hope this helps, and I imagine Olaf may have some other comments as well, but feel free to keep those emails coming.

All the best,

Jeff
