I am appalled, outraged, disgusted and downright sickened by the vandalism that occurred at El Bembe last saturday night! The salsa community is suppose to be caring compassionate open minded community who are quick to lend a hand or open our homes to total strangers. I encourage everyone to attend the fundraiser October 27th at All Asisa Restaurant. These people--(The Esencia Latina Group) were left with nothing but the clothes on their backs!! Their passports, important papers, equipment and personal belonging were all stolen. I just cannot believe that there are thieves within the salsa community. I am still in shock, who would want to do such a disgusting thing? I obviously encourage anyone who saw anything strange that night to go to the police.
