absolutely... it took me at least a year to get this thing called clave... my best sugestion is to listen and listen and listen to salsa a lot, you will eventually get it.
and of course take lessons...

: I've been to three lessons so far and have had a blast (Havana Club, Johnny D's), but I can't seem to find the beat.
