We always recommend that people take the T in from the outskirts of Boston, but parking is fortunately not that hard or expensive anymore. This page gives you all of our recommendations. We've tried to be as accurate as possible. Please report any errors so we can correct them.

By MBTA: We recommend parking at an MBTA stop outside of downtown and riding to the T to one of the following stops:
Garage/Lot/Street parking: (Due to big dig and constantly changing circumstances, we cannot guarantee this information, but it is current last we checked.) Some free street parking is available in the South End, near the Fleet Center, and behind Quincy Market if you're willing to drive around a bit. Leave yourself time and read the signs carefully! Parking tickets are $35 and up. On the other hand, there has to be a sign in order to get a valid ticket. Best deals we know of:
Many other garages in the immediate area are very expensive. Aquarium "Harbor Garage" is $26, BEWARE! Quincy Market, Boston Harbor Hotel, and 200 State St. are all about $20-$25.
