Harbor Cruise Directions and Parking

We always recommend that people take the T in from the outskirts of Boston, but parking is fortunately not that hard or expensive anymore. This page gives you all of our recommendations. We've tried to be as accurate as possible. Please report any errors so we can correct them.

By MBTA:

We recommend parking at an MBTA stop outside of downtown and riding to the T to one of the following stops:

  • "Aquarium" on the Blue line
  • "Haymarket" on the Orange line
  • "Government Center" or "Haymarket" on the Green line

Garage/Lot/Street parking:

(Due to big dig and constantly changing circumstances, we cannot guarantee this information, but it is current last we checked.)

Some free street parking is available in the South End, near the Fleet Center, and behind Quincy Market if you're willing to drive around a bit. Leave yourself time and read the signs carefully! Parking tickets are $35 and up. On the other hand, there has to be a sign in order to get a valid ticket.

Best deals we know of:

  • Best priced garage nearby is 75 State St (enter on Broad St). $12 Webpage
We have an additional $2 off validation stamp usually available.
  • Interpark Garage at 1 Post Office Square is $7 but you have to walk a few blocks further. 617-357-4484
  • Rowes Warf Garage is $15 if validated by BHC. (P) on the map Webpage
  • Parcel 7 Garage is $13 (P4 on the Map)
  • Meridian Hotel is $7 (250 Franklin St.) 5-10 min. walk
  • Street lots on Atlantic Ave. $9-$15, 5-10 min. walk (P13, P14, P15 on the Map)

Many other garages in the immediate area are very expensive. Aquarium "Harbor Garage" is $26, BEWARE! Quincy Market, Boston Harbor Hotel, and 200 State St. are all about $20-$25.
